If you happen to be in the Orangeburg area of South Carolina on Saturday April 9th at around about noon, then you may be lucky enough to see Mr Wicked hurtling into the sky at breakneck speed whilst clinging to the side of the Tornado E Cigarette rocket.
Courtesy of Mr Michael Gunter, who has designed and built this impressive looking rocket (check out the pictures on the Rocket promotion thread on the forum) the countdown to launch has officially begun.
As well as launching the Tornado rocket, Michael says he will also have a smaller rocket on display for those that are interested, in the design of a Titan 510.
It’s all very exciting, especially considering that this is a warm up event for what Michael is billing as “The Big Show” which is to be held in Tampa, Florida on June 18th! So, that’s a cool double dose of rocket mania.
How many of you are hoping to attend one launch or the other, now that the dates appear to have been set? I know many of us in the UK will have to watch on from afar but I am sure there will be plenty of images and videos to look through.
